Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is natural gas that has been cooled to -162°C, transforming it into a clear, colorless, and odorless liquid. This process reduces its volume by about 600 times compared to its gaseous state at around 15°C.
Once liquefied, LNG is transported in specially designed tankers. These vessels use highly efficient insulation systems to maintain the LNG at cryogenic temperatures, ensuring it remains in liquid form throughout the journey.
