Alaska LNG has been granted final approval by the US Department of Energy to export up to 2.55 bcf/d of LNG from the plant. The project will supply gas produced from the North Slope and the terminal will be located near Nikiski on the Kenai Peninsula. The approval will extend permission for exports to all countries including those not having US FTA.
