The first FSRU in the Netherlands has been reported to initiate its journey from Singapore in May and is expected to arrive to Eemshaven Port in early August. Gasunie, the Dutch transmission system operator, will take care of connecting Eemshaven to the gas pipeline network and distributing the gas across the country.
