First carbon neutral LNG cargo delivered in Europe

The first carbon neutral LNG cargo in Europe was delivered at the Dragon LNG terminal (UK) by Shell Global LNG Limited from Gazprom. Nature-based carbon credits have been used to offset full lifecycle emissions (including methane) from the exploration & production to the end-use. Each carbon credit is subject to a third-party verification process and represents the avoidance or removal of 1 tonne of CO2.
