FSRU Ertuğrul Gazi receives first LNG

The first LNG transfer was carried out to Ertuğrul Gazi, a new FSRU built by Hyundai Heavy Industries and provided by BOTAŞ for its regasification terminal at Dörtyol in Hatay. Berge Arzew brought a commissioning cargo of 132 000 m3 of LNG from Algeria in late June. The ship-to-ship transfer to the 170 000 m3 Ertuğrul Gazi FSRU was completed on July 2nd. The new FSRU replaces FSRU Challenger, which will be provided by MOL for an offshore regasification project in Hong Kong.
