India’s first FSRU-based terminal starts operations in Q4 2018

H-Energy launches India’s first FSRU-based LNG terminal at Jaigarh Port in Ratnagiri District, Maharashtra. The LNG terminal is developed with a capacity of 4 MTPA and will be capable of reloading LNG into other vessels. It is scheduled for commercial operations by Q4 2018.

H-Energy mentions that it will provide storage, re-gasification, re-loading, fuel bunkering and truck loading services to the Indian industries that are showing increasing demand for the chilled fuel. The natural gas from the terminal will be supplied to customers, through a 60-km tie-in pipeline which shall be connected to national gas grids at Dabhol.
