Japan’s MOL has received the LNG dual-fuel car and truck carrier Turquoise Ace from Imabari’s Tadotsu Shipyard. The 7,000-ceu PCTC is part of MOL’s plan to operate 90 LNG and methanol-fueled vessels by 2030. MOL’s LNG-powered ships reduce CO2 emissions by 25-30%, SOx by 98%, and NOx by 85% compared to conventional fuel oil.
