Manga LNG inaugurates Tornio LNG receiving terminal

The Tornio Manga LNG receiving terminal has been inaugurated in Tornio, northern Finland. The project was led by Manga LNG, a joint venture between the Finnish companies Outokumpu Group, SSAB, Gasum and EPV Energy. This is the largest LNG receiving terminal in the entire Nordic region with a regasification capacity of 0.4 MTPA and a storage capacity of 50,000 m3. The terminal will supply natural gas to Outokumpu’s Tornio steel mill and LNG to local industries, mines, and other consumers in the region.
