New Fortress Energy files applications for new offshore LNG liquefaction terminal off the coast of Louisiana

New Fortress Energy has announced that it has filed applications to request all necessary permits and regulatory approvals to site, construct and operate a new offshore LNG liquefaction terminal off the coast of Louisiana. The project will have a capacity of exporting approximately 2.8 MTPA of LNG and targets to begin operations in the first quarter of 2023.
