Montoir-de-Bretagne LNG terminal to resume send-out

French LNG terminal operator Elengy halted send-out at Montoir-de-Bretagne terminal on 4 May after detecting leak on the insulating joint in the gas pipeline linking the terminal to the French transmission grid. The repair works started on May 12 and were completed on May 28. Elengy's teams are starting the works to progressively resume the gas send-out into the transmission grid.

Tellurian signs SPA with Gunvor

Tellurian and Gunvor have signed a 10-year SPA for 3 MTPA of LNG. The contract price is indexed to a combination of the JKM and TTF indices, netted back for transportation charges. The LNG will be delivered on FOB basis from Tellurian’s Driftwood LNG, a 27.6 MTPA liquefaction project proposed near Lake Charles, Louisiana in the United States.

First small-scale reloading in the Mediterranean

First small-scale reloading of LNG, performed on 21 May at the FSRU LNG Croatia located at Krk Island, marked the start of the bunkering service at the terminal and was the first reloading carried out in the Mediterranean. LNG was reloaded from the FSRU to a 7 500 m3Avenir Accolade dual-purpose – LNG supply and bunkering – vessel to deliver the commissioning cargo to the HIGAS LNG terminal in Sardinia.

Total signs LNG SPA with ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel

Total announced the signing a 5-year SPA with ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel for delivery of 0.5 MTPA of LNG to Indian LNG terminals (Dahej or Hazira) until 2026. The LNG will be sourced from Total’s portfolio and will be used to for steel and power production in Hazira, Gujarat state.

Woodfibre LNG signs second SPA with BP

Woodfibre LNG, a 100% subsidiary of Pacific Oil & Gas Limited, signed a 15-year LNG SPA with BP Gas Marketing Limited, a wholly owned indirect subsidiary of BP, for the delivery of 0.75 MTPA of LNG from Woodfibre LNG project, located in Squamish, British Columbia. This is the second LNG SPA between the companies, bringing BP’s LNG off-take to 1.5 MTPA.
