Papua New Guinea, to go ahead with LNG project

The Government of Papua New Guinea has allowed the Papua LNG project to proceed following a review of the previously signed gas agreement. The expected capcity of the project is around 8 MTPA for the three trains (~2.67 mmtpa each). It is expected that the project will now go into the FEED phase. The delivery of its first LNG cargo is planned for 2024.
