Shell, along with its Joint Venture partners INPEX, KOGAS and OPIC announced that the first shipment of LNG has sailed from the Prelude FLNG facility located 475kms North East of Broome in Western Australia. This shipment will be delivered by the Valencia Knutsen LNG carrier to customers in Asia. The Prelude FLNG facility will produce 3.6 MTPA of LNG, 1.3 MTPA of condensate and 0.4 MTPA of LPG.
