| QatarEnergy and Shell have signed a long-term deal to supply 3 mtpa of LNG to China, starting in January 2025. This agreement is the 11th LNG supply contract between the two companies. The LNG will be sourced from Qatar’s North Field expansion projects, which aim to increase Qatar’s LNG export capacity to 126 mtpa. Additionally, QatarEnergy and Shell signed similar agreements to supply LNG to the Netherlands, starting in 2026. |
