RasGas and Petrobangla sign long-term LNG contract

RasGas signed today a 15-year SPA with Petrobangla (Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation). Rasgas will supply up to 2.5 MTPA to Petrobangla for 15 years starting in 2018.
Volumes will be delivered to Petrobangla’s first FSRU (3.75 MTPA) being developed by Excelerate near Moheshkhali Island in the Bay of Bengal and scheduled to start operations before 2Q2018. A second FSRU (3.75 MTPA) is being developed by Summit at the same location with commissioning expected by 4Q2018.
