BP delivered its first carbon-offset LNG cargo to Asia Pacific. LNG was sourced from BP’s LNG portfolio and supplied to CPC Corporation to the Yung An terminal in Taiwan. The well-to-tank CO2 and methane emissions associated with the LNG cargo, were estimated using BP’s quantification methodology and then offset using credits from the company’s carbon trading portfolio.
