Inspiring Women in LNG is a GIIGNL initiative aiming to promote gender diversity in the LNG industry and its decision-making circles.
Enhancing diversity and gender balance in organizations is widely recognized as a way to improve business performance and drive growth. Despite this, 3 employees out of 4 in the gas industry are men. The percentage of women in the workforce even drops from 25% to 17% between the middle management and senior leadership career stages. The LNG industry is no exception to the rule.
We feel that the contribution of women to the success of our industry should become more visible in order to improve gender balance in LNG, in particular at senior leadership levels.
To put things in motion, we have decided to launch a collection of portraits of Inspiring Women in LNG.
