About GIIGNL
GIIGNL is a non-profit organisation whose objective is to promote the development of activities related to LNG: purchasing, importing, processing, transportation, handling, regasification and its various uses.
The Group constitutes a forum for exchange of information and experience among its members to enhance safety, reliability and efficiency of LNG imports activities and the operation of LNG imports terminals in particular.
GIIGNL was founded in 1971 and is based in Paris. The association has a global dimension, and its membership is composed of nearly all companies in the world active in the import and regasification terminalling of LNG. Currently, GIIGNL’s membership is composed of 94 members from 29 different markets, representing approximately 90% of global LNG trade flows.
