Brunsbüttel LNG receives first cargo

FSRU-based LNG import terminal, located in Brunsbüttel Elbehafen port in Germany, received its first LNG cargo on board 137 000 m3 LNG carrier Ish from Das Island, Abu Dhabi. The cargo was shipped by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and delivered at the FSRU Hoegh Gannet chartered by RWE on behalf of the German government. Regasified LNG is to be fed into the German gas grid as part of the commissioning phase of the FSRU.
