Crown LNG starts development of Kakinada LNG

According to an agreement signed with East LNG to finance, build, and lease the infrastructure for a 7.2 MTPA LNG receiving terminal around 11 km offshore Kakinada, India, Crown LNG initiated development of the project. The Kakinada LNG project is planned to be developed as a gravity-based structure and be operational 365 days per year, including during the monsoon season. FID is targeted for the end of 2022 with the start of operations 3 years later. Crown LNG will ensure operations and management of the facility over a 25-year lease period following the completion of the terminal.
