EU Commission approves exemption decision for German LNG Terminal

The European Commission has approved the exemption decision related to 8 BCMA of throughput capacity for the German LNG Terminal planned at Brunsbüttel, Northern Germany. The terminal will be built and operated by the joint venture German LNG Terminal GmbH including Gasunie, Vopak and Oiltanking. The exemption will be applied on a long-term basis from the date of the terminal’s commercial start.
