FID on Scarborough and Pluto LNG Train 2

Woodside announced an FID on Scarborough and Pluto Train 2 developments. Pluto Train 2 includes the construction of a new 4.9 MTPA liquefaction train and associated domestic gas processing facilities. The expansion of Pluto LNG will also include modifications to Pluto Train 1 to allow it to process Scarborough gas. Aero-derivative gas turbines for liquefaction and inlet air chilling will be used in order to provide higher thermal efficiency and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
The Scarborough joint venture is held by Woodside (73.5%) and BHP Group (26.5%), the Pluto Train 2 joint venture will be held by Woodside (51%) and Global Infrastructure Partners (49%) after the completion of the sell-down transaction to GIP.
