The Neptune FSRU, which will be the first FSRU used for Lubmin LNG receiving terminal, arrived at Mukran Port in Germany. The vessel will be transferred to the site of the project after lightening (draft reduction). Commissioning will start once all the necessary approvals are obtained. The 4.5 BCMA terminal, developed by Deutsche ReGas, is the first and so far, only privately financed LNG terminal in Germany. The terminal is exempted from tariff and network access regulation for 20 years. The Neptune FSRU is chartered by Deutsche ReGas from TotalEnergies.
