The 180 000 m3 FSRU Vasant 1 arrived in Turkey at Saros LNG terminal, loaded with its commissioning cargo from Egypt’s Damietta terminal. The FSRU is chartered by Botas and is set to operate at the terminal for the next 12 months. The FSRU was completed by Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea at the end of 2020 and was initially intended for a planned LNG receiving terminal at Jafrabad in India, developed by Swan Energy but delayed.
