FSRUs secured for Germany

Uniper, RWE, EnBW and VNG, a subsidiary of EnBW, signed an MoU with the German government regarding the supply of two FSRUs and their full utilization for the next two winters.
The floating terminals in Brunsbüttel and Wilhelmshaven are scheduled to start operations in winter 2022/2023 and will be operated by Uniper and RWE on an interim basis until a special purpose entity takes over operations.
The charter agreements for four vessels in total were signed in May with Höegh LNG (2) and Dynagas (2), including two vessels planned to be installed in Lubmin and Stade.
