A commissioning ceremony for an offshore gas receiving terminal and a FSRU called Marshal Vasilevskiy was held in the Kaliningrad Region on January 8. A key component of the terminal is a fixed marine berth with a breakwater. The Marshal Vasilevskiy FSRU has been moored at the quay located five kilometers off the coast, protected by a 728-meter long breakwater. It can provide up to 3.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas to the Kaliningrad region annually.
