The start-up date of the Hammerfest LNG plant after the fire in September 2020, was pushed from 31 March 2022 to 17 May 2022 due to consequences from Covid-19 and related operational restrictions. According to Equinor, the progress is impacted by lack of staff due to quarantine and isolation measures, combined with restrictions and narrow working areas.
