New Fortress and Venture Global sign two 20-year SPAs

New Fortress Energy (NFE) and Venture Global LNG signed two 20-year LNG SPAs for the supply of 2 MTPA of LNG in total to NFE on an FOB basis from Venture Global LNG facilities in Louisiana. 1 MTPA will be supplied from the Plaquemines LNG export facility and an additional 1 MTPA from CP2 LNG facility, which is a proposed new liquefaction project located adjacent to Calcasieu Pass LNG facility. FID for the Plaquemines LNG is expected to be taken soon and for CP2 LNG – in 2023.
