Oman LNG to supply LNG to Japan

Oman LNG signed binding sheet agreements for contracts renewal beyond 2024 with three Japanese firms for the delivery of a total of 2.35 MTPA of LNG from Oman LNG starting in 2025. The duration of contracts varies from 5 to 10 years. According to the agreements Itochu Corporation will receive 0.8 MTPA, JERA Co., Inc 0.8 MTPA and Mitsui & Co, Ltd 0.75 MTPA of LNG.
The LNG plant at Qalhat initiated the Power and Debottlenecking projects which will enable it to enhance its production capacity to 11.6 MTPA.
