Qatar to supply LNG to Germany

QatarEnergy and ConocoPhillips signed two long-term SPA for the delivery of up to 2 MTPA of LNG from Qatar on a DES basis to the German LNG receiving terminal, which is currently under development in Brunsbüttel, with deliveries expected to start in 2026 and last for at least 15 years. LNG will be sourced from North Field East (NFE) and North Field South (NFS) projects with start-ups planned in 2026 and 2027, respectively. ConocoPhillips holds a 3.125% interest in the NFE project and a 6.25% share in the NFS project.
