QatarEnergy plans to order at least 10 Q-Max LNG carriers from South Korean shipyards. This move follows a $6 billion contract with China’s Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding for 18 similar vessels. The new orders are part of QatarEnergy’s strategy to expand and modernize its LNG fleet to meet rising production and contract demands.
