Energy Transfer and Shell entered into a 20-year SPA for the supply of 2.1 MTPA of LNG to Shell from Energy Transfer’s Lake Charles LNG project on an FOB basis at a price indexed to Henry Hub plus a fixed liquefaction charge. The first deliveries are expected to start in 2026. The SPA brings the total amount of LNG contracted to 8 MTPA out of 16.45 MTPA of the project’s nameplate capacity.
