Shell to offtake 2 MTPA from Ksi Lisims LNG, BC, Canada

Ksi Lisims LNG, a LNG project in British Columbia (Canada) and Shell signed a 20-year LNG SPA for 2 Mtpa on an FOB basis. Co-developed by the Nisga’a Nation, Rockies LNG, and Western LNG, the 12 MTPA project will include two floating LNG production units and storage facilities. It targets to have one of the lowest carbon intensities of any large-scale LNG export project in the world, utilizing several technologies to reduce carbon emissions, including using renewable hydropower from the BC grid. Start up is expected by 2030.
