Tokyo Gas concludes HOA with PETRONAS

Tokyo Gas concluded with Malaysia LNG, a subsidiary of PETRONAS, a HOA regarding a new LNG SPA on March 14, 2018. Tokyo Gas has been procuring LNG from the Malaysia Satu Project since 1983 and kept discussions with Malaysia LNG on the new contract starting April 2018 as the current contract expired at the end of March 2018.
Under the contract, Tokyo Gas has agreed to purchase LNG from Malaysia LNG for up to 13 years from April 2018. Contract volume is up to 500,000 ton per annum for the first 6 years and up to 900,000 ton per annum for the remaining 7 years.
