Total delivers first carbon-neutral LNG cargo

Total has delivered its first carbon-neutral LNG cargo to the China National Offshore Oil Corp. The whole carbon footprint of the LNG shipment delivered on September 29 from the Ichthys liquefaction plant (Australia) to the Dapeng terminal (China) was offset with Verified Carbon Standards (VCS) emissions certificates financing Hebei Guyuan Wind Power Project (China) and Kariba REDD+ Forest Protection Project (Zimbabwe).
