Total signs supply and joint venture agreements with Shenergy

Total and Shenergy Group have signed two agreements: a 20-year SPA for the supply of up to 1.4 MTPA of LNG, sourced from Total’s LNG portfolio and delivered to Shenergy’s Chinese LNG terminals, and an agreement on the creation of a joint venture to expand LNG marketing in China. The joint venture (Total 49%, Shenergy Group 51%) is aimed at selling LNG, supplied by Total, in Shanghai and throughout the neighboring Yangtze River Delta regions. In addition, Total will supply LNG for distribution to Shanghai Gas, the subsidiary of Shenergy Group.
