The new LNG receiving terminal in Wilhelmshaven (Germany), operated by Uniper, received its first full LNG cargo on board the 170 000 m3 Maria Energy loaded at Venture Global’s Calcasieu Pass (USA). The Wilhelmshaven terminal uses the 3.7 MTPA FSRU Höegh Esperanza. The commissioning of the terminal underway, commercial operations are expected to start in mid-January 2023.
